As the crisp autumn air ushers in the month of November, the United States Marine Corps prepares to celebrate its birthday, a tradition steeped in history and pride. Established by the Continental Congress on November 10, 1775, the Marine Corps has since been a pivotal force in American military history, distinguishing itself in conflicts across the globe. The birthday of the Corps is not just a day on the calendar but a time for reflection on the valor and dedication of the men and women who have donned the eagle, globe, and anchor.

The commemoration of this day has evolved into a symbol of pride among the Marines, marked by ceremonies and balls where the rich heritage of the Corps is celebrated. It's a day when current and former Marines come together to honor their shared legacy and the unyielding spirit that has defined the Marine Corps since its inception. The birthday serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by Marines and their commitment to the nation's safety.
