Bel Canto Youth Chorus Winter Concert: A Symphony of Young Voices in Bethlehem 🎶

On December 3, 2023, the Bel Canto Youth Chorus Winter Concert will grace the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, showcasing the exceptional talent of young musicians. Starting at 4 pm, the concert will feature over 50 choristers performing classical masterpieces, including Mendelssohn’s "He Watching Over Israel" and selections from Bach’s "Nun komm der Heiden Heiland."

The concert will be enriched by the participation of the Bach Festival Orchestra, blending the youthful energy of the chorus with the seasoned expertise of professional musicians. This collaboration highlights a harmonious mix of experience and emerging talent.

The repertoire also includes a culturally diverse Zimbabwean welcome song, demonstrating the chorus's commitment to musical diversity. The event will conclude with the communal singing of beloved carols, symbolizing the unifying power of music. This concert in Bethlehem, a city with a rich musical heritage, stands as a testament to the vibrant future of classical music, championed by the next generation of artists.
