The iconic Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is making a comeback with a revamped version of "The Greatest Show on Earth" at the PPL Center in Allentown. The show, running from November 1-3, marks the circus's return after a six-year break and a shift away from using animals in its acts. This new version of the circus focuses on human feats and performances, featuring a global cast of 75 performers. Audiences can expect a variety of acts, including highwire stunts, comedy, and aerial performances, all designed to engage and immerse viewers in a modern circus experience. The show's return is part of a broader North American tour, and tickets for the Allentown performances will be available from February 20.
Continuity on Ice: Bethlehem's Steel Ice Center Under New Ownership ⛸️🏒
Bethlehem's Steel Ice Center, a key ice-skating and hockey facility, has been sold for $6.47 million. The new management, led by COO Keith Krem, emphasizes that the center's operations and offerings will remain unchanged. The facility, which has been instrumental in fostering hockey in the region, features extensive amenities including two NHL-size rinks and a full-service restaurant. The new owners, Eric and Casey Bus, took over from Tommy Schantz, who managed the center for two decades. Krem, a seasoned hockey coach and administrator, aims to continue the center's legacy as a hub for ice sports and community engagement in South Bethlehem.

Sarah's Smile: Seeking a Fur-ever Home for a Joyful Hound ❤️🐾
Meet Sarah, a 5-year-old, 52 lb hound mix with a perpetual smile and a heart full of love! Rescued by PK after her previous owner could no longer care for her, Sarah's joyous spirit remains unshaken. She's a dream on a leash, house trained, and responds eagerly to commands, especially when treats are involved. While she enjoys her meals a bit too much, she's ready for an owner who'll help her stay healthy. Sarah prefers male dog companions and may need a home that understands her frequent bathroom needs due to an enlarged liver. Could you be the one to offer Sarah a fur-ever home, or know someone who could?
